Online Mentoring
OnsiteSeminar LLC is pleased to introduce
our new virtual mentoring center, It is designed to
provide a portal for connecting instructors/consultants
and students in an online virtual training environment.
Using our remotely-accessible virtual classroom, we
can link a knowledgeable consultant with individuals
anywhere in the world. We have designed this service
to provide live real-time interaction with a remote
machine, preloaded with all of the necessary software,
and one of our consultants.
Once linked to this virtual center,
the student will have the ability to access our high-speed
network to connect to the software remotely, participate
in a live online lecture, work independently on our
lab exercises, chat with a designated online mentor,
receive online assistance, participate in cooperative
development with a mentor or view pre-recorded lecture
components.
Key
features of Online Mentoring:

Interactive mentoring
will allow a student to interact directly with an
assigned consultant to build applications according
to their customized learning topics. Utilizes instant
message chat, message boards, teleconferencing,
remote access machines/software and "live"
mentors.

Self-paced learning
that allows individuals to perform self-study lab
exercises using remotely accessible lab machines.
A mentor can be scheduled to standby and assist
if the student has any problems or questions. This
option utilizes instant message chat, message boards,
teleconferencing, remote access machines/software.

Integration with self-study
courseware, each WebSphere Java course
offered by OnsiteSeminar LLC incorporates an in-depth
step-by-step exercise guide designed to provide
a "cookbook" approach to developing and
implementing Java ecommerce applications. See exercise

WebEx virtual seminars, each WebSphere
Java course offered by OnsiteSeminar LLC can utilize
our WebEx virtual training environment. Each of
these courses comes with an in-depth step-by-step
exercise guide designed to provide a "cookbook"

applications.

(coming Summer 2005), provides a portal
for searching and viewing over 1,000 individual
WebSphere/Java topic discussions. Each discussion
utilizes a Flash media file to display an instructor
narration of an animated diagram, program sample
or demonstration.
